Brides and grooms spent less on wedding photographers and videographers in 2011 than in 2010, according to research by an industry group. The Wedding Report says couples spent an average of $1,777 on photographers in 2010 but just $1,668 in 2011. They spent an average of $1,152 on videographers in 2010 but $1,054 in 2011. On the other hand, couples were willing to spend more on things like photo sessions for their engagement and digital or photo CDs and DVDs. And they even spent more on the traditional leather-bound album — from $459 in 2010 to $476 in 2011.
