Complaining about your job
"If you complain about your job every day, most likely you’re the problem, not the company," says career performance expert Melissa Luke. "It is time to rethink your strategy and stop blaming others for your unhappy career."
Luke says it’s easier to complain about management or the job in general than to actually do something about it.
"If you land in this camp, then quit your job and go start your own company and do it better," Luke says. "You may learn a few things: It is harder than you think to keep everyone happy in a company."
If even the concept of starting your own company makes you panic, then you know it’s time to figure out a way to make peace with your job — before your gripes send you to the unemployment line.
A good way to start is to make a list of the positives and try to connect with the management in ways that help to inspire you.
