Nostalgia is in the air. The former homes of 20th-century legends Frank Sinatra and Samuel Goldwyn recently hit the market. Sinatra was arguably the most famous singer of the postwar era, with hits that we still hear on the radio today. He also starred in movies such as The Manchurian Candidate and won an Academy Award for best supporting actor in From Here to Eternity. Goldwyn was a legendary movie mogul who founded Goldwyn Pictures, which later became part of what we know today as MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer). And you know that roaring lion logo? That was his creation, too. Goldwyn also won an Academy Award and worked with most of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Sinatra, who starred in his musical Guys and Dolls with Marlon Brando.
