Let the sun shine in
2013 Kia Optima EX
Optima sets the bar for mid-size family sedans. Packed with standard features typically found on much more expensive cars, it screams value. Optima also boasts top crash-test scores, a better-than-average warranty and an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy for city and highway driving of 28 mpg. Kia's compelling exterior styling extends to the five-passenger cabin with high-end materials and careful craftsmanship. EX models are powered by a 200-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission. The panoramic roof is included in the $2,950 Premium Package. Our only nit to pick is that the roof encroaches on the already tight rear-seat headroom when it opens. That might be a deal breaker for families with tall teens.
